Michael is currently a 3L student at the University of Illinois College of Law. Michael graduated from the University of California-Berkeley in May 2016 with a B.A. in Philosophy.
This past Summer, Michael was a Summer Associate at the LA-based Appellate firm of Greines, Martin, Stein & Richland. In the Summer of 2018, Michael worked as a legal intern for Camelot Illinois, the private manager of the Illinois State Lottery.
Michael spent his gap year working to grow San Francisco-based startup, Survata Inc, by managing paid digital marketing spends and sales processes.
In his final semester at UC Berkeley, Michael interned at the Northwest Finance Headquarters of Hillary for America and has also previously interned within the Washington D.C. Mayor's office at the Office of Federal and Regional Affairs (OFRA).
While at U.C. Berkeley, Michael had a wealth of experience in the start-up community. He served as the VP of Partnerships for the U.C. Berkeley chapter of the Kairos Society in addition to Head of Mentorship for the 2015 version of the Startup Weekend event on the U.C. Berkeley campus.
