Guha Krishnamurthi is primarily interested in the intersection of law and philosophy as applied to structural components of our legal system, such as the design of courts, the nature of adjudication, and the foundations of culpability.
Guha graduated with his JD and MA in philosophy from the University of Texas. After his studies, he clerked for Chief Judge Diane P. Wood on the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Guha then worked in private practice in Southern California, focusing on patent, trade secret, copyright, and antitrust work at both the trial and appellate levels. Thereafter, he clerked for Judge Andrea R. Wood on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and then for Justice Goodwin H. Liu on the California Supreme Court.
