The Georgetown Journal of Law and Modern Critical  Race Perspectives  invites legal academics and practitioners to submit articles for Volume 17. This issue will focus on the intersection of law, race, and power in American life, particularly as Critical Race Theory receives significant pushback from conservative leaders. All journal submissions must comport with the journal’s mission as well as the following:

  • 25,000 words or less
  • Written by an author who has graduated law school
  • Include an abstract and curriculum vitae

Submissions and questions may be directed to lawmcrp@georgetown.edu, or the journal’s submissions page on Scholastica.

Deadline for submissions: Submissions will be considered on a rolling basis.

Journal Mission
The Georgetown Journal of Law and Modern Critical Race Perspectives  is dedicated to supporting scholarship that provides a critical analysis of the intersection of law and race, focusing especially on the law’s role in the construction and maintenance of racial subordination and social domination.
