The South Carolina Journal of International Law and Business (SCJILB) invites submissions and speakers alike for our upcoming Bi-Annual Symposium in February of 2025. This issue will examine the intersection of international law and human rights, with a particular focus on nuclear proliferation, natural resource extraction, and global supply chains. The issue will be published alongside our Symposium edition in April 2025.
We invite submissions tailored to the broader theme or directly addressing any of the following subtopics:
1. Nuclear Proliferation and International Security: Exploring the legal frameworks governing nuclear non-proliferation, disarmament efforts, and the role of international organizations in maintaining global security.
2. Human Rights in Natural Resource Extraction: Examining the legal challenges and human rights implications of resource extraction activities, both domestic and abroad.
3. Ethical and Legal Considerations in Global Supply Chains: Investigating the impact of international trade laws on labor rights, environmental protection, and corporate accountability in global supply networks.
We look forward to reviewing your submissions and contributing to the ongoing discourse on these critical global issues.
