We
are seeking authors who are interested in contributing to
the PTAB Bar Association Law Journal for our Spring 2022 issue.
These member-authored works will be made available via Westlaw, LexisNexis, and
Hein, as well as the PTAB Bar Association's website (https://www.ptabbar.org/law_journal.php) and the
website of our partnering journal, the Chicago-Kent Journal of
Intellectual Property (https://scholarship.kentlaw.iit.edu/ckjip/) in April 2022.
Articles may delve into any aspect of PTAB practice, but
generally should not address material that has already been covered by the
Journal (contact us for a list of previous topics). If you are interested:
By January 31, 2022 please
provide the topic of your proposed article, along with a paragraph
explaining what it will cover, to journal@ptabbar.org. Multiple topic proposals are
permitted. Please note that this is an academic journal and that all
articles should be academic or practitioner-focused. We will not accept
articles intended to promote a specific product or service.
We cannot guarantee we will have adequate time to review submissions received
after this deadline, however, such submissions will be considered for
future issues. Once we have reviewed all proposals, we will follow up with
prospective authors to let them know whether any of their proposals have been
selected for the issue. If so, the final draft will be due March 9, 2022, which
should run 2,000-2,500 words, exclusive of footnotes.
If you have other questions, please reach out to the Journal's Editorial Board
at journal@ptabbar.org.
We look forward to your submissions!
