The Oregon Review of International Law (ORIL) is currently accepting submissions for Volume 24, which will be published in Spring 2023.
ORIL publishes articles that analyze connections between social, economic, and political forces and touch on a variety of issues, including human rights, international trade, and international business. We welcome a diversity of topics and opinions. We accept article submissions from professors and practitioners.
ORIL will also accept submissions for review from a person who holds a JD or an international law degree, such as an LLB, regardless of whether such person is currently a student. For example, ORIL will accept submissions from LLM or PhD students with a JD or LLB degree, but ORIL will not accept submissions from students studying to obtain a JD or LLB.
Submissions can be made through Scholastica or email, sent to oril@uoregon.edu. They should include a cover letter and a resume or CV. All submissions should be double-spaced, twelve-point font, with footnotes. Citations should conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (21th ed. 2021) and The Chicago Manual of Style (17th ed. 2017).
Please send any questions to oril@uoregon.edu. We look forward to reviewing your submissions for Volume 24.
