Case Western Reserve University Law Review is calling for submissions for its November 3, 2023 Symposium titled "Judicial Conduct, Ethics, and Reform."
We encourage you to submit an unpublished manuscript that focuses on state judicial codes of ethics and potential reforms addressing First Amendment concerns that arise as judges seek to promote transparency with their constituents while maintaining the appearance of neutrality. There is no minimum length, but we are looking for submissions to stay within 20,000 words.
A $500 prize will be awarded to two winning submissions, and the authors will be invited to participate in a symposium panel and be published in the corresponding Law Review issue.
You can submit your manuscript through Scholastica or by emailing submissions to Professor Cassandra Burke Robertson at cbr10@case.edu. The deadline for submissions is August 4, 2023.
