The Fordham Urban Law Journal is now accepting articles for Volume 45. The Journal's 2017 Fall Issue will be centered around a Juvenile Justice theme.
The Fordham Urban Law Journal has a strong history of addressing legal and public policy issues affecting urban populations across the nation and throughout the world. Heading into its 45th year, the Journal is the Law School’s second-oldest publication and its most-cited specialty journal. The upcoming Juvenile Justice Issue seeks to highlight the ways in which the juvenile justice system has failed youth offenders, the effect this has on their communities, and the possibilities for legal and policy reform.
The Journal welcomes articles addressing: the school to prison pipeline; financial costs of juvenile detention; alternatives to incarceration; privacy concerns; access to justice issues; and the criminalization of youth. This list is in no way exhaustive and we invite you to submit an article on any juvenile justice topic you believe deserves attention.
