The Denver Law Review is currently soliciting articles and proposal for articles for its Symposium Issue, to be published in Issue 4 of Volume 98, scheduled for Fall 2021.
This year, the Symposium Issue will accompany the Volume 98 Symposium: Artificial Intelligence & Bias. Our symposium will feature speakers and timely discussions of artificial intelligence regulations, the use of artificial intelligence in healthcare and the criminal justice system, digital surveillance, and facial recognition technologies. The purpose of the Symposium Issue is to provide a forum for scholarship on the topic of artificial intelligence and its impact on society and the law. As such, we are calling for articles and abstract proposals from a broad group, including professors, fellows, practitioners, judges, law clerks, current law students, and scholars in related fields.
The Symposium Issue typically features pieces of 6,000–8,000 words, but this is not a hard limit. We are currently offering honorarium to authors who are selected to contribute to this issue. The draft due date for this issue is December 18, 2020.
- Interested authors should email either an article or an abstract proposal for an article to the Denver Law Review Volume 98 Symposium Editor, Van Vu, vvu21@law.du.edu, with the subject line “DLR Symposium Issue.” Submissions will be accepted until Monday, October 12th at 11:59 p.m.
We are excited to reveal cutting-edge scholarship on the ever-growing field of artificial intelligence and look forward to reviewing your submissions.
