The Connecticut Insurance Law Journal Call for Papers Regarding: Cyber-Insurance
Deadline: January 1, 2021 (final papers due February 1, 2021)
The Connecticut Insurance Law Journal is looking for articles, essays, comments, and notes on Cyber Insurance. The selected papers will be published in Volume 27, Issue 2, set to publish by Summer 2021.
In an ever-digital world, the role of insurance is especially important with the expanding risks of technology. As new issues present themselves with respect to internet-based businesses, privacy and information governance, as well as technological advances, insurance plays an especially important role in protecting businesses, individuals and organizations. We welcome articles on this pressing topic highlighting emerging insurance issues, prospective insurance products, and early caselaw commentary.
We will feature chosen articles from a variety of lawyers, insurance industry leaders, students, activists, and sociologists. This symposium-edition will be centered around this topic and will compliment a virtual Cyber Insurance Symposium. Papers should generally be between 10–25 pages. After selection, the final drafts are due February 1, 2021.
Submission: To submit your paper for consideration, please send the written document (in document format, not PDF) and a copy of your CV to cilj.eic@gmail.com or submit via Scholastica or ExpressO by January 1, 2021. Any questions or comments can be directed to cilj.eic@gmail.com.
Sincerely,
Haley A. Hinton, Editor-in-Chief
