The UCLA Entertainment Law Review (ELR) is the leading law journal publishing cutting-edge scholarship in the entertainment industry. Published by the UCLA School of Law, prominently ranked as the world’s top entertainment law program, the ELR is uniquely positioned to elevate exemplary scholarship to the entertainment community at large. Topics of publication include: motion pictures and television, internet and communications, music, journalism and media, broadcasting, sports, as well as closely related issues of intellectual property and the First Amendment.
The ELR strives to publish scholarship that represents a diverse and inclusive range of voices. As part of and responsible to the greater entertainment and legal communities, we believe entertainment law is lifted and enlivened by works of scholarship that represent authors and subjects from across a wide spectrum of experiences, cultures, and credentials.
