The Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review (ELR), is now accepting submissions for Vol. 37.1 (2016). ELR is dedicated to advancing a scholarly dialogue between the legal community and the entertainment industry.
Entertainment law is a vast subject area encompassing complex legal issues of anti-trust litigation; bankruptcy; contracts; corporation law; constitutional law; communication regulation; sports arbitration; and intellectual property rights, such as copyright and trademark. As the world becomes technologically interconnected, entertainment issues have broadened to an international scope, encompassing international trade and taxation, finance, and immigration.
Submissions should include a component regarding entertainment, sports, technology and social media, or intellectual property. All footnotes should comply with the 20th Edition Bluebook. The Review publishes at least three issues per year by the students of Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.
