The Hofstra Labor and Employment Law Journal (HLELJ) is seeking submissions for both our Fall and Spring editions for Volume 42!
Currently ranked 8th in the nation for employment law, HLELJ is widely regarded as one of the premier authorities in the fields of labor and employment law as well as one of the preeminent specialty journals in the United States. Previously, HLELJ has published works by William B. Gould IV, former Chairman of the NLRB, and Robert Lewis, co-founder of Jackson Lewis LLP. Additionally, one of our written symposium issues included an introduction by Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, with personal accounts from noteworthy discrimination plaintiffs Ann Hopkins and Beth Ann Faragher.
HLELJ invites article submissions focusing on all areas of labor and employment law. Scholarly articles of any length are welcome, although works of fifty pages or less are preferred. Articles can be submitted through Scholastica or e-mail (laboremploymentlaw@hofstra.edu). Please use footnotes that conform to the 21st edition of the Bluebook. All submissions should include the article in word document form and a CV or resume. HLELJ is published on a biannual basis, with one edition in the fall and one in the spring.
This is an exciting time to publish with our Journal, and we hope to hear from you. Please do not hesitate to contact us if there are any questions. Send any such emails to laboremploymentlaw@hofstra.edu.
We look forward to hearing from you.
