Dear Authors and Scholars,
On February 24, 2023, Charleston Law Review will be
hosting a symposium on legal and legislative issues in coastal communities stemming
from climate change. We are accepting 5-7 submissions for publication in the spring
2023 symposium issue. Authors whose submissions are selected for publication
will be invited to present their work at the symposium held in Charleston,
South Carolina.
Potential topics could include, but are not limited to, proposed changes or updates to federal legislation regarding federal climate change mitigation strategies, assessing risk in terms of climate change litigation, and the impact of climate change legislation on coastal property rights.
We welcome submissions of any length, with a preference for submissions that are less than thirty pages. Authors are asked to submit their manuscripts through Scholastica along with an abstract and CV. The submission deadline is December 17, 2022.
Please contact Christopher Fulmer, Symposium Editor, at CJFulmer@charlestonlaw.edu with any questions. Thank you for your time and consideration.
