Call for Submissions:

The University of Louisville Law Review is currently accepting article submissions for Issue 2 of Volume 63, scheduled for publication in Spring 2025. We have 1 to 2 remaining slots in this issue, offering a prime opportunity for scholars to have their work featured in a respected and widely read journal. Submissions will be accepted until September 30, 2024, or until all available slots are filled, whichever comes first.

Who Should Submit:

We invite submissions from scholars, including professors, judges, and practicing attorneys. Articles written by current law students or recent graduates will not be considered for publication. Manuscripts may be submitted via Scholastica or directly to the Articles Selection Editor at bradley.dick@louisville.edu.

Submission Guidelines:

Length: Manuscripts should be no longer than 30,000 words, including footnotes.

Format:
Submissions must adhere to Bluebook citation format, with footnotes used exclusively. Articles using endnotes or in-text citations will not be accepted.

Authorship: We are accepting submissions exclusively from professors, judges, and practicing attorneys. Submissions from law students or recent graduates will not be considered.

Topics:
We seek to publish thought-provoking articles that advance scholarship within the American legal system. Please note that we do not publish articles focused on international law or on legal issues that do not directly affect the United States.
