Human Rights Brief Call for Articles: Accepting Submissions for Fall 2024 and Spring 2025!

The Human Rights Brief at American University Washington College of Law is accepting articles for Volume 28, to be published in Fall 2024 and Spring 2025. 

Submission Requirements: We invite submissions on any legal topic related to human rights. The topic can relate to international law or domestic law in the United States or an individual country. Technical requirements include:

• 3,000-4,000 words, excluding footnotes.
• Legal citations in Bluebook format for all sentences with unoriginal ideas.
• Must have a legal argument and analysis of a human rights issue.

Deadlines: Please submit your piece by the following deadlines:

• For Volume 28, Issue 1 (Fall 2024): November 7, 2024
• For Volume 28, Issue 2 (Spring 2025): December 15, 2024
