The American University Business Law Review (AUBLR) is accepting papers for its Volumes 9 and 10 issues for publication between July 2020 and December 2020.
AUBLR publishes high-impact pieces that combine innovative legal analysis with practical applications. AUBLR is the leading business law review in the nation's capital and looks forward to receiving pieces on a broad range of topics with a business nexus. Previous issues have included articles on the laws of corporations, intellectual property, white-collar crime, corporate compliance, tax, energy, fashion, international trade, labor and employment, securities, and cybersecurity.
This March, AUBLR is hosting its Second Annual Women in Business Law Leadership Conference, dedicated to celebrating achievements of outstanding women in all areas of business law. All-women editorial boards of Volumes 8 and 9 have created an all-women authored issue, and Volume 10 will adopt this tradition for its upcoming publication.
AUBLR is interested in receiving papers in connection with the Conference on any topic that falls under the business law umbrella. In line with the topics covered at the Conference this year, we are especially interested in articles discussing matters on the 2019-2020 Supreme Court docket, Americans with Disabilities Act, Title III, and “Big Law” as an industry.

We welcome a variety of paper formats and are available to discuss any questions you might have about fitness for publication. Please note that we require that at least one author has a JD or advanced law degree from a law school located in the United States, preferably with five years of experience.
