The Albany Law Review is honored to invite practitioners and legal scholars to begin submitting manuscripts to be considered for publication in the New York Appeals, Fourteenth Annual Issue. Since its inaugural issue in 2010, the Anthony V. Cardona Annual Issue of New York Appeals has striven to be a useful resource for courts, practitioners, and legal academics with the goal of providing in-depth analyses on matters taking place in the New York Court of Appeals and discussions of landmark cases that have changed the laws of New York.
In this issue, we would like to shine light on changes in the laws of New York that have occurred as a result of a decision that was rendered by the Court of Appeals or the Appellate Division. This is a broad topic that can cover anything relevant to your field of practice or expertise that you feel is important and needs to be brought to the attention of the legal community. Additional topics that will also be considered for publication include anything related to the practice of appellate law in New York, the history of the Court of Appeals, and judicial profiles.
Interested authors should submit their articles to Stephanie Andrews, Executive Editor for New York Appeals, at sandrews@albanylaw.edu by December 15th. Articles will be reviewed on a rolling basis until all spots are filled. For further information, please contact Ms. Andrews at the email address provided above.
